Sue (Sue-Ma) Russell

Mrs. Sue L. (Sue-Ma) Russell, 94, of Rocky Face, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the residence.
She was the daughter of the late David and Lena Self Lowery and was preceded in death by her husband , Charles Ralph Russell; son Harvey Allen Russell; sisters, Ada Leonard and Lavada Lowery; brothers James Lowery and Leonard Lowery.
Sue was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dalton.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, John Dell and Pat Russell and Dave and Connie Russell all of Rocky Face; sister, Judy Horton of Tunnel Hill; brother, Edmond Lowery of Rocky Face; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Laura Defore.
The family would like to say thank you to Cornerstone Medical Group, Professional Eye Association and Heartlite Hospice for there loving care and compassion.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev Tommy Crider officiating.
Burial will follow in Dunagan Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday after 5 p.m.
