Glenda Thomason

Mrs. Glenda Isenhower Thomason, 75, of Rocky Face, passed away June 17, 2008 at Wood Dale Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born January 25, 1933, the daughter of William and Georgia (Stroud) Isenhower. Glenda was a 1950 graduate of Dalton High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert Thomason of Rocky Face; brothers, John and Mike Isenhower; infant granddaughter, Kari Ann Adams.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mike Babb of Rocky Face; granddaughters, Kim (Daniel) Brock of Alpharetta, Kelly (Tony) Garland of Cartersville, grandson, Corey (Sarah) Babb of Stone Mountain, great-grandchildren, Claire, Paul and Morgan Brock and Kate Babb; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive; special friends, Ralph and Shirley Jones, Virginia and Derrell Wimpy, Mary and Sonny Curtis, Bob and Sybil Campbell, James and Marylyn Green, Jennett McFalls and Shelia Kennedy.
Glenda’s request was that she was cremated. A memorial service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church of Rocky Face Sunday, June 22 at 3 P.M. with Pastor Michael J. Mahoney officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
