Mr. Kenneth Franklin Arnold, 80, of the Mill Creek Community, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Quinton Memorial Health Care.
He was the son of the late, Jeff and Belle Stuart Arnold and was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Griffin, Marie Smith, Mildred Bennett and Fannie Mae Arnold; brother, Paul Arnold.
Kenneth’s hobby was working in his wood shop. He loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren, were his greatest joy. He retired from Beaulieu after 30 years of service.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret Neal Arnold of Rocky Face; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Johns of Dalton; sister, Evelyn Hayes of Rocky Face; brother, Lewis Arnold of Dalton; grandchildren, Krista and John Mulcahy of Charleston, SC., Kerrie and Stuart Martin of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Felker and Kyle Felker both of Dalton; A number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. George Ross and the Rev. Todd Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 7 to 9 P.M. Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews; Kelly Griffin, Bobby Arnold, Chris Bennett, along with Dennis Arnold, Mike Cannon Jim Ridley and John Koerner.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 300 W. Emery St., Suite 106, Dalton, GA. 30720.
