Lois Thompson

Mrs. Lois Kilgore Thompson, 97, of Tunnel Hill passed away Monday, January 6, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Ernest Thompson; sons, Richard Thompson and Walter Thompson; daughter, Elaine Horne.
Lois is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Wilda Thompson of Woodstock, GA; son-in-law, Reece Horne of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Michelle Dorman, Joe Thompson, April Ogle, Mandy Garber, Nancy Woodward and Jon Horne; 14 great-grandchildren; special neighbors, Roger and Sparky Locke of Tunnel Hill; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at noon from the New Hope Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill with the Rev. Keely Hasty and the Rev. Mark Atkins officiating.
Burial will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M.
The family ask that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 2105 Tunnel Hill-Varnell Road, Tunnel Hill, Ga. 30755.
