Nettie Ballew Penland

Mrs. Nettie Ballew Penland, 87, of Dalton passed away Monday January 6, 2014. She was the daughter of the late William H. and Lillie M. Ballew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pledger “Pete” Penland; sisters, Willie Mae Ballew, Ruth Welch, Carrie Welch and Pat Hawkins; half brothers, Luther Ballew, Price Ballew and Claude Ballew; half sisters, Pearl Mathis, Stella Cloer and Edna Hooker.
Nettie is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Michael and Sherrie Penland of Dalton, Buddy and Teresa Penland of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Connie Penland of Dalton, and grandson, Chad Penland of Clarksville, TN.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M.
