Raymond Wilson Jr.

Mr. Raymond Edwin Wilson Jr, 59, of Rocky Face passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, “Big Mama” Hester McGill Hall; step-father, David Sims; nephew, Andy Tallent and his special dog, Shawdy.
Raymond worked for Shaw Industries for 36 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kimberly Edwards Wilson of Rocky Face; mother, Mary Alice Sims of Chatsworth; father, Raymond Wilson Sr. of Dalton; sister, Elaine Wilson of Dalton; brothers, Joe Sims, Jackie Sims, Scott Sims and step-sister, Penny Sims all of Dalton; special aunt, Debbie Barnes of Chatsworth; special uncle, Gerry McGill of Dalton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Jean Smith; and sister-in-law, Karen McKinney all of Summerville; brother-in-law and his wife, Allen and Cayce Edwards of Dalton; nephews, Dustin Edwards, Joshua Edwards, Cameron Colby, Luke Sims and niece, Maddison McKinney.
Memorial service will be Saturday at 1 P.M. at Fishers Chapel on Dry Creek Road in Summerville, Georgia with Dr. Danny Cochran officiating.
