Myrtle "Marie" Johnson

Mrs. Myrtle “Marie” Ledford Johnson, 70, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 6, 1943, daughter of the late James Edward and Hollie Marie Henderson Ledford and was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Edward Ledford and sister, Betty Jean Ledford Jones.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years, Junior Johnson of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny (Jena) Johnson and David (Karon) Johnson; special nephews, Scott (Angie) Jones and Kevin (Cathy) Jones; grandchildren, Valarie Johnson, Kylie Johnson, Jacob Johnson, and step-grandson, Sy (Ashley) Martin, Hunter Jones, Tanner Jones, Miranda Jones and Neely Jones; great-grandchildren, John Martin and Ada Martin; brother, Arnold (Tria) Ledford; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 P.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service on Friday from 12 to 2 P.M. at the church.
