Renske Mcfaddin

Mrs. Renske Kruiter McFaddin, 92, of Dalton, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in the Netherlands on July 30, 1915, the daughter of the late Geertruida and Enzo Kruiter. Preceding her in death were her husband, Hugh D. McFaddin; her brothers, Johan and Berend Kruiter; her step-daughter, Alice Huber; her special friend, the Reverend R. Louis Alberton.
Renske lived , was educated, and became a teacher in the Netherlands. After World War II, she met and married her husband, an American working for Exxon in the Hague. Living abroad for many years, they traveled throughout Europe. Upon his retirement they moved back to the United States. Over the past 7 years, she has resided at Peachtree Estate Assisted Living and Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Judith Enck of Dalton; step-grandchildren,
Charles Huber and his wife, Suzanne of Charlotte, N.C., Dr. Elizabeth Huber-Kontos and her husband, Dr. Michael Kontos of Richmond, VA., Robert Huber and his wife, Liria of Plantation, FL., Douglas Enck and his wife, Carol of Dalton and Phillip Enck of Indianapolis, IN.; a niece, Hanneke Dykstra and a nephew, Kees Kruiter both of the Netherlands; step-great-grandchildren, Emily and Rebecca Kontos of Richmond, VA., Jaclyn, Jennifer and Robert Enck of Dalton.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the dedicated staffs of Peachtree Estates Assisted Living, Heartlife Hospice Care and Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home as well as her longtime loving caregiver and friend, Anna Belle Ward.
No visitations will be held. A memorial service is planned for the family at a later date. Burial will be at Memory Gardens in Rockville, IN.
