Jackie Tipton

Mrs. Jackie Green Tipton, 69, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Agnes Wells Green and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tipton and step-son, Frankie Tipton. Jackie is survived by her son, Blake Tipton of Dalton; daughter, Amii Tipton of Atlanta; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Ray and Rosie Green; and granddaughter, McKenna Ellison all of Dalton; step-daughter, Marcy Quarles of Dalton; caregivers, Tracy Sarrels Keeler and Sandra Duncan; nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Amedysis Home Health Care and Hospice for their care and compassion. Memorial service will be Saturday at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Winters officiating. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. The family ask that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia, 1703 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, Ga. 30720.
