C.L. Brown

Mr. C.L. Brown, 71 of Dalton, passed away Sunday February 9, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center. Mr. Brown was born April 18, 1942 in Dalton to the late Joseph L. and Ella Mae Brown. Also preceding him in death are his brothers and sister-in-laws, Joseph E. “Buster” and Louise Brown, R.B. “Shorty” and Ellen Brown, and Carolyn Holmes Brown and his sister Nellie Jo Brown Henderson. Mr. Brown is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda “Nena” and Brian Etheridge of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Floyd “Doodle” and Jennifer Cloer of Dalton; Brother, J.L. Brown of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-laws, Lillie Mae Everett and James Dale of Tunnel Hill, and Nora and William Ensley of Dalton; Grandchildren, Travor Cloer and Chris Cloer. The family would like to thank all co workers at Dye Systems. Services for Mr. Brown will be Thursday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Reverend James Brownlee officiating. Burial will follow at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday from 12:30 until 2 P.M.
