Herbert Green

Mr. Herbert “Hub” Green, 87, of Tunnel Hill, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
He was the son of the late, Robert Lee and Ethel Reese Green and was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Etta Carroll Green and son, Herbert “Butch” Green.
Hub was a veteran of the United States Army having served During WW II.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Linda Green of Ringgold; grandchildren, Jennifer Green Mealer of Lafayette, Michael Green of Ringgold, Teresa Green Nichols of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Jacob Green, John Green, Zachary Mealer, Caleb Mealer, Makayla Nichols, Elizabeth Nichols and Crystal Nichols; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 A. M. from the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Mealer officiating.
Burial will follow in Swamp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 9 P.M.
