William "Bill" Metcalf

Mr. William Jerome “Bill” Metcalf, 70, of Calhoun, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late, Warren Lake and Gladys Godfrey Metcalf and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Brooks Metcalf and a brother Kenneth Metcalf. Bill was a member of Whitfield Baptist Church. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory Brian and Tracy Metcalf of Tunnel Hill, David Warren and Alicia Metcalf of Calhoun and Christopher Jerome Metcalf of Tampa, FL; sister and brother-in-law, June and Dale Stacy of Dalton; grandchildren Deacon Metcalf and Dawson Metcalf; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Cofield officiating. Burial will follow in Dug Gap Cemetery.
