Betty Lowery

Mrs. Betty Dyer Lowery, 82, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Lowery; mother, Pate Shoemaker Dyer; father, Jim Dyer; sisters, Susie Callahan, Marie Parker, Georgia Luffman and Mary Elizabeth Dyer; brother, Otis Dyer.

Betty is survived by her brother, Jerome Dyer; sisters, Ruth Ledford and Pat (Charles) Hawkins all of Dalton; special nephews, Austin Center, Christain Center and Halen Morehead; special caregivers, Fay Roberson, Angela Stansell, Linda Wilson and Velma Ogles.

The family wishes to thank HeartLite Hospice Care for the special care given.

Funeral services will be at Noon Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Harrison and the Rev. Bo Evans officiating.

Entombment will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.

The family ask that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3349 Old Chatsworth Rd., Dalton, GA 30721.
