Grady Higdon

Mr. Grady Higdon, 83, of Tunnel Hill passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014.

He was the son of the late L.C. “Creed” and Nellie Payne Higdon and was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Manis.

Grady was a retired crane operator for Steel Industries.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ola Payne Higdon of Tunnel Hill; children and their spouses, Shirley and Kerry Shouse of Michigan, Dr. Danny R. Higdon of Tunnel Hill and June and Ronald Cherwalk of Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Linda Higdon of Tunnel Hill, and Tommy and Sharon Higdon of Dalton; grandchildren, Joel Kromrei, Nicholas Kromrei and Brendan Cherwalk; great-grandchildren, Grady Lee Kromrei and Henry Allan Kromrei; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 4 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Matt Higdon officiating.

Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 P.M.
