Jody Dennard

Mrs. Jody Dennard, 65, of Rocky Face passed away Monday, March 17, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Susac Sweetnich.

Jody loved to garden and she was a graduate of The Williams West Virginia School of Nursing in 1969. Her first job was with the Oceana Naval Air Station; then with Vanderbilt Hospital, followed by the Gallatin Hospital and then with Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Walter Dennard Jr. of Rocky Face; son, Mark Douglas Dennard of Atlanta; sisters, Barbara Shoemaker of Woodsfield, OH,Suzanne Hendershout of Powhatan Point, OH and brother, Joseph Sweetnich of Morgantown, WV.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 4 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 to 4 P.M.
