June Singleton

Mrs. June Acuff Singleton, 88, of Rocky Face passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014. June was preceded in death by her son, Dale Singleton and the father of her children, C.E. Singleton. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Spencer (Amanda Pimentel) Singleton, and Perry (Mary) Singleton all of Dalton; grandchildren, Spencer Alexander Singleton, Lily Pimentel, Daniel Pimentel, and Abrahm Pimentel; nieces, nephews and god daughters, Lucretia Gonthier, Marsha Wilson, Joyce Burnette, and Rachel Talley.

Mrs. Singleton was an active and caring volunteer in the community. She volunteered for the Whitfield County Jail Ministry, Hamilton Medical Center, and Southeast Whitfield High School. She was an Aglow Church teacher and also taught the Blue Bells at Dalton Church of God. She also served as PTA President for Eastbrook School in 1969.

Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M. on Sunday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Talley officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 3 to 7 P.M.
