Jack Durham

Mr. Jack Durham, 81, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014.

Jack was the son of the late Judson and Annie Griffin Durham and was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Durham, Albert Durham, and Jerry Durham.

He retired from the United States Air force after 21 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church. Jack also loved to play fast pitch softball.

He is survived by his wife, Sachiko Durham of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Jimmy and Meg Durham of Chattanooga; daughter and son-in-law, Jo-Ann and Scott Waldrop of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Durham, Erica Durham, Emily Durham, Chase Durham, and Rachel Waldrop; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Hamilton Hospice for their love and care.

A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Durham.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 to 2:30 P.M. in the atrium of First Baptist Church.
