Robert Callahan

Mr. Robert W. Callahan, 82, of Dalton passed away April 7, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Robert was the son of the late Augustus and Ruby Kirk Callahan and was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Stanley Callahan.

He was a member of Riverbend Church of Christ.

Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Harvey Howalt of Dalton; son, Rickey Penley of Dalton; grandchildren, Jeff and Gina Davis, and Tela and Pat Sain; Great-grandchildren, Jessica Sain, Nickolas Sain, Julia Sain, Dylan Davis, and Drew Davis; great-great-granddaughter, Nora Blackwell; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Tyler Gilreath and Roger McKinsey officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 10 until 11 A.M.
