Steven Yeargin

Mr. Steven Douglas Yeargin (“Bubba”), 57, departed this life on April 29 ^th 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Loyd Columbus Yeargin; brothers, Randy Yeargin, Raymond Yeargin, and Gregory Yeargin; Grandparents, Doc and Dessie Jones and Will and Jessie Yeargin. He is survived by his mother Ruby Jones Yeargin; his beloved wife, Joann Cleary Yeargin; son, Douglas Yeargin; daughter and son-in-law, Carmen Yeargin and Christopher Kelly; Granddaughter Viona Kelly. He is also survived by his sister and borther-in-law: Sandra and Greg Simms of Dalton GA; nieces, Cathy Snyder of Dalton, Sheri Henry of Atlanta GA, and Ashlyn Smalling of Acworth GA; many other friends and relatives.

Steve was a faithful employee of UPS for many years and was a constant upbeat figure in many local businesses’. To those who knew him personally he was a kind and caring man that valued his family very much. He will be missed greatly by many.

Visitation will be held at Love Funeral Home from 12- 2 pm on Saturday May 3, 2014. In lieu of a funeral service friends and family will celebrate his life following visitation on May 3, 2014. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity or organization.
