Shirley Putnam

Mrs. Shirley Duane Scott Putnam, 76, formerly of Dalton, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014. Shirley was a member of Echota Baptist Church in Calhoun, GA
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Emma Jones and John W. Scott; husband, Donald Putnam; brother, Chester Scott; sister-in-law, Jean Scott and brother-in-law, Trammell Putnam.
Shirley is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Donna Proctor, formerly of Dalton, Diana and Monty Slaughter of Calhoun, GA; brothers and sister-in-law,
Ulyss and Virginia Scott, Ray Scott and Bradley Scott; sisters, Linda Seay and Judy Scott; sister-in-law, Lillian Stanley, brother-in-law, Henry Putnam all of Dalton; grandchildren, Jason Young, John Young, Jeremy Young, Amanda Jones and Amelia Harrell; great-grandchildren, Blake Young, Brock Young and Brooklyn Young.
Services will be Sunday at 2 pm in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Dunagan Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday after 5 pm.
