Sara Sue Wimpey

Mrs. Sara Sue Whaley Wimpey, 89, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was the daughter of the late, Lester and Nannie Patterson Whaley and was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. Wimpey in 1995; sisters, Edith Jones and Jennie Burgess.
She was a lifelong member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Sara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Sammie Wimpey of Kennesaw, GA.; sister, Pat Thomason of Dalton; brother, Tom Whaley of Dalton; grandchildren, Pam and Angela; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Monday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Brownlee officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 3 to 6 P.M.
