Maude Mashburn Kelley

Maude Mashburn Kelley, 92 of Dalton, passed away at her home, December 6, 2005, in the arms of her loving and devoted daughter, Jean Kelley. Her dedicated and long-time caregivers, Mary Carter and Joan Kennedy were also present.
She was the daughter of the late, Jeff and Ruby Baxter Mashburn and was preceded in death by her beloved son, Billy Kelley in 1994.
Maude was born in Gordon County April 26, 1913 and was the last surviving child of seven sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Kelley of Dalton.
Son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Flora Kelley of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Granddaughter and husband, Chris and Jim Parker of Florence, SC.
Two Great-Grandsons, John James Parker and Jackson Parker both of Florence, SC.
Four sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and other relatives, many wonderful caregivers and long-time friends.
Services will be Thursday at 12 P.M. at Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Hassell officiating.
She will be laid to rest beside her son in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M..
Maude fought a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and any contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 855 Abutment Rd. Suite 6, Dalton, Ga. 30721 will be greatly appreciated.
