John Sirmons

Mr. John Swett Sirmons, 67, of Dalton, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday June 12, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Derrel and Mae Sirmons and his brother, Toby Sirmons.
John is survived by his Wife, Rebecca Sirmons; sisters and brothers-in-law, Robin and Rick Ruth, Paula and Robert Williams; sister-in-law, Lavana Gordon; brother-in-law, Tony Reece; nieces and nephews, Jody and Maria Williams, Mitch and Amy Gordon, Phillip and Bryan Gordon; great nieces and nephews, Hannah, Paige, Shelby, Caleb and McKenzie Gordon; God sons, Kevin and Brad Hutson.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday from The Lighthouse Family Worship Center with the Rev. Michael King officiating.
John’s final resting place will be in Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Blairsville, GA.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2:30.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution’s may be made to Shady Grove Cemetery Fund, 1448 Lower Owltown Rd., Blairsville, GA 30512.
