Dual Broadrick

Mr. Dual Broadrick, 92, of Rocky Face, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at his residence.
He was the son of the late, Fulton and Edna Buckhannan Broadrick and was preceded in death by his wife, Eloyze Pangle Broadrick; daughter, Brenda Gail Broadrick; son, Randy Broadrick and sister, Blanche Lippard.
Dual was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in World War II and he was a P.O W. in Germany for five months. He was member of the American Legion Post # 112, Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church and was Whitfield County Clerk of Court for twenty years.
Dual is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Steve Bass of Woodstock, Ga.; sister, Eva Roy of Huntsville, AL.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Lawson Broadrick and Kay of Atlanta, Judge Ray Broadrick and Pat of Dalton; brother-in-law, Joe Lippard of Wilson, Ga.; sister-in-law and special friend, Eileen Pangle of Dalton; grandchildren, Brad Carpenter, Jason Bass, Amy Mohrmann and Matthew Broadrick; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 11 A.M. from the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church with the Dr. Bill Currington and the Pastor Matt Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
