Alex Head

John Alexander “Alex” Earnest Head departed this life on June 30, 2014. He is survived by and deeply missed by his parents, Ricky and Susan Head, his brother and best friend Andrew Head; grandparents, Nancy and Jerry Brown; aunts and uncles, Cindy and Danny Harrison, Mark and Terri Brown, Sharon Norris, Terry and Debbie Head; cousins, Jessica Brown, Nikki Hall, Braden and Mattie.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Earnest Head, Jr. and Edna Head; great-grandparents, Earnest Head, Sr. and Josie, Madelene Potts, John C. and Mary Lee Hufstetler, Arthur and Mabel Brown; great aunt, Juree Potts.
Alex was a member of the Dalton First Church of the Nazarene.
He was a graduated from Southeast High School, attended Dalton State College and was employed by Taco Bell.
Funeral services will be at 3 p. m. Sunday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Amspaugh officiating.
Burial will be in Camp-Lewallen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.
