James Donald Souther

Mr. James Donald “Spud” Souther, 72, of Dalton, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 in Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
He was the son of the late, W. M. and Nannie Key Souther and was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Dennis Ketchum.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Rich Souther of the residence.
Sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Lisa Souther of Dalton, Sean and Amanda Souther of Chatsworth.
Sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ray Rose of Goldsboro, NC.
Brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Shelia Rich of Chatsworth.
Grandchildren, Brady and Abbey Souther of Chatsworth, Chelsea Goard and Allise Brown both of Dalton, Stephen Goard of Paris Island, SC.
Great-Great Grandchild, Kain Brown of Dalton.
Nieces and nephews, Mike and Kim Ketchum of Griffin, Ga. and Andrea Etheridge of Chatsworth.
Services will be 2 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Vess and the Rev. Danny Cochran officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 11 to 2 P.M.
