Elizabeth West

Mrs. Elizabeth (Beth West), 57, of Dalton, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005.
Mrs. West was born on October 5th, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a 1971 graduate of Baptist Christian College (Louisiana) where she received her Bachelor of Arts. She earned her Master of Education from Southern Arkansas University in 1979. After a career in teaching, she became a loving full-time mom and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Sidney and Mable Maurine Freeman, and a brother, James Maurice Freeman of Shreveport, LA.
Beth is survived by her husband, Steve West of Dalton; son, Patrick West of Kennesaw; daughter Jennifer Wilkerson, son-in-law Matthew Wilkerson, and grandson Benjamin Wilkerson of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law LaQuita and Bud Woodall of Shreveport, LA and Judy and Jim Fulmer of Conway, AR; sisters Janice Linkous of Magnolia, AR and Mitzie Shell of Garland, TX; sister-in-law Janet Freeman of Shreveport, LA; two aunts, Nettie Mae Garrett and husband Sye of Garland, TX and Arlene Gill of Monroe, LA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. C. Dean Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 1:30 to 3 P.M.
