Wilford "Bill" Hall

Mr. Wilford H. “Bill” Hall, 87, of Dalton passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve as Commander after 30 years of service; retired from North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation and was a member of Masonic Lodge #105 F&AM
Bill was the son of the late Matthew Robert and Grace Rymer Hall and was preceded in death by his brother, John A. Hall.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Barbara Goss Hall of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Douglas Knowles of Dalton; grandchildren, Dr. Rebecca Knowles of Chatsworth, Darian and Sara Knowles, and great-grandson, Anaiah Knowles of Omaha, NE; sister, Eloise Cobb of Cocoa, FL; sisters-in-law, Eileen Whiteside of Rocky Face and Dorothy Goss of Ellijay; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses on the hospice floor of Hamilton Medical Center for their love and care.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at Noon at West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. James Brownlee officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to one’s favorite charity.
