Marie Brown

Mrs. Marie D. Brown, 90, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday July 30, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late, William and Margaret Frady Davis and was preceded in death by her husband, Milburn Brown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Katherine Davis and J. B. and Elizabeth Davis.
Marie was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for 45 Years.
She was very devoted to her family and loved people, never meeting a stranger.
Marie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Sherry Brown of Dalton; grandson, Adam Brown of Virginia; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Kimberly and Curtis Utz of Spring Hill, TN; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Darey Kittle and the Rev. Trammel Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in Antioch cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
