Wayne Hefner

Mr. Larry Wayne Hefner, 69, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Jasper Loyd and Bonnie Kate Isenhower Hefner. He was preceded in death by his brother, Taft Hefner and his father-in-law, Claude Self.
Wayne was a member of Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Claudette Self Hefner of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Hitesh Chavda of Chattanooga; son, Michael Gazaway of Dalton; grandchildren, Asha, Cohen, Kaelan and Karsan; daughter-in-law and her husband, Kelly and Brent Hamill of Chickamauga; mother-in-law, Inez Self of Dalton; sisters, Margie Wallace of Cohutta and Wanda (Jerry) Doleshall of South Carolina; sisters-in-law, Sandra Hefner of Dalton and Carolyn Rollins; brother-in-law, Terry (Brenda) Self; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick Coker officiating.
Burial will follow in Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday at Love Funeral Home from 5 until 7.
