Winona Rose

Winona Lee Thomason Rose, 71, of Dalton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 5, 2014 surrounded by family. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, plants, and trees around her home and was compassionate to all animals. She never met a stranger and was full of joy and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Carl Rose; her parents, Clarence and Jessie Thomason; her brother, RC Thomason; her sister-in-law, Sandra Thomason; and her infant son, Mark Douglas Terry.
She is survived by her children, Gene Terry and his fiancée Shannon McNish; Melea Rose-Waters and her husband Joseph Waters; grandchildren, Angela Campbell, Megan Terry, and Liam Waters; great-grandchildren Heaven Campbell and Matthew Campbell; sister and brother-in-law Carolyn and Bob Greeson; nieces and nephews also survive.
