Lorene Mask Green of Dalton, GA, previously from Valley , AL passed away at her residence in Dalton, GA on Saturday, September 13,2008, after a lengthy battle with cancer
She was a retiree of the Lanett Housing Authority where she served as Executive Director .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Addie and John Smith and sister, Colene Smith, husbands Joe V. Mask and Bob Green, brother, Homer L. Smith, and grandson, Jason Bishop
She is survived by daughters and son-in-Iaws, Susan and Richard Bishop ofValley, AL, and Sherri and Ralph Stafford of Dalton, GA. Sisters, Doretha Leak of Valley , Helen Ellington of Taylorsville, NC, and Barbara Cunningham of Florida; brother & spouse Allen and Eilene Smith of Opelika. Grandchildren and spouses Joseph Bishop and Skye Staten of Panama City, FL, Stephanie and Jason Reynolds of Dalton, GA, and Greg and Ashley Stafford of Winston Salem, NC. Great grandchildren Izabella and Ava Rosa Bishop of Panama City, FL, Davison and Dori Reynolds of Dalton, GA, and Ryan Stafford of Winston Salem, NC, and a very special friend, Gordon Griffin of Franklin, GA. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held at Johnson Brown Funeral Home in Valley, AL on Monday, September 15, 2008 beginning at I :00 p.m. EST, and grave side service and burial in Fairfax Cemetery immediately following.
A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Dalton, GA on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at I :00 p.m. EST .
