Jerry "Mick" Garrett

Mr. Jerry “Mick” Garrett, 60, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Ernest and Edith Lowery Garrett and was preceded in death by his daughter, Carrie Holloway; brothers, George Paul Garrett, Charles Drennon Garrett and Robby Garrett; aunt, Geneva Lowery.
Mick was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved working and was always building or remodeling around his home.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Cooper Garrett of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Randy Calhoun and Tracy Cathers all of Dalton; grandchildren, David Calhoun, Jaise Cathers, Cody Holloway, Ryan Osborne and Danny Michael Osborne; great-grandchild, Bristol Calhoun; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will at 2 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Russell Schneider officiating.
Burial will follow in Gordy Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
