Afton Jerles

Mr. Afton “A. C.” Jerles, 83 of Tunnel Hill, passed away, Thursday September 18, 2008 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Pona and Lina Pruitt Jerles and was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Thomas Jerles, Brothers and Sisters.
A.C. was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Navy.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wendall Jerles and Patricia of Riceville, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Alice Wiley and Patricia and Paul Simmons all of Tunnel Hill; brother, James L Jerles of Oregon; grandchildren, Chrissy and Bryan Johnson of Cleveland, Tn, Melissa Woeltje of New York, Lamar Keeler and Jason Keeler both of Dalton, Chris Jerles of Niota, TN., and Wendall Jerles, JR. of Riceville, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Varnell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
