John "J.W." Mcclure

Mr. John “J.W.” McClure, 88, of Dalton passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Ben and Minnie McClure and was preceded in death by his brothers, Sidney Lee McClure, William A. “Bill” McClure, Eric E. “Edwin” McClure and Charles R. McClure.
J.W. retired from Manly Steel and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lovella Talley McClure and daughter, Lynne McClure both of Dalton; special niece, Trudy Bufford of Abingdon, VA; other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Atkins officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from
5 to 8 p.m.
