Mrs. Peggy Dunn Knowles, 67, of Dalton, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Memorial Health Care in Chattanooga, TN.
She was the daughter of the late, Pat and Trenna Weber Dunn and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Jerry Knowles in 2005. Along with her husband, they owned J & J Pharmacy and she was a member of the Dug Gap Baptist Church.
Peggy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, LeeAnn and David Herman of Tallahassee, FL.; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian K. and Donna Knowles, Patrick A. and Stacy Knowles all of Rocky Face, GA.; grandchildren, Brianne and Josh Stafford, Will Springfield, Morgan Springfield, Justin Cole, Robyn Cole and Lauren Sheehan; great-grandchild, Max Stafford; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Edwards of Dalton, brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Jane Dunn of Dalton;
Mother-in-law, Alma Knowles of Dalton, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Doug and Donna Knowles of Dalton, Linda and John Parker of Kingston, TN.; special companions, her dog, Walker and her cats, Hampton, Beck, Greta and Squeako; special friends, Debbie and Troy Brown, Charles Coker and his late wife, Helen, Wanda Black, Johnnie and Larry Sims; aunts; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. from the Dug Gap Baptist Church with the
Rev. Bill Walker, the Rev. Kevin Jackson and the Dr. Byron Edens officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to
9 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Dug Gap Baptist Church, 2031 Dug Gap Road, Dalton, GA. 30720 or to the Humane Society of N.W. GA., P. O. Box 3946, Dalton, GA. 30719.
