Mr. Kertis Bramlett, 74, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Truman Bramlett and Lois Ables Bramlett and was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Bramlett and sister, Jannah Bramlett Stroup.
Kertis was a graduate of Cherokee County High School, was a member of the Lions Club and New Haven Baptist Church in Chattanooga and was a 2nd degree black belt in Karate. He has worked for Cooper, Carey and Associates in Atlanta, Jennings-King Architects in Dalton and had his own private practice in which he had an AIA license.
Kertis is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Holland Nealy Bramlett of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Steve Kertis Bramlett and Michelle Bramlett of Woodstock; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen Bramlett Parodi Bland and Tim Bland of Acworth; brother and sister-in-law, Bucky and Linda Bramlett of Marietta; sister, Joy Riness of Woodstock; step-children, Angela and Scott Jones and Donna Cudd all of Dalton; grandchildren, Gabriel Bland, Lauren Taylor Bland, Skylar Bland, Hunter Jones, Tanner Jones, Miranda Jones, Nealy Jones, Samuel Allen and Elizabeth Allen; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at New Haven Baptist Church in Chattanooga with the Rev. Bill Broome officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from
5 to 8 p.m.
