Jerry Gentry

Mr. Jerry Edwen Gentry, 64, of Resaca, died Saturday, January 14, 2006 in Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Roy Gentry, Sr. and Mae Bell Brock Gentry and was preceded in death by his step-father, Jesse J. Moore; brothers, Harold “Dude” Gentry and Robert “Bones” Gentry.
Jerry was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife Melinda Shepherd Gentry of the residence.
Daughter, Robin Kristin Gentry of Resaca.
Son and daughter-in-law, , Roy “Butch” and Carla Gentry of Dalton.
Brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Sylvester Gentry of Rocky Face.
Granddaughters, Stormy Gentry of Kennesaw, GA. and Hope Gentry of Dalton.
Nieces and nephews.
Special Uncle and friend, George Shipman of Dalton.
Services will be Monday at 2 P.M. from Dogwood Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Roy Gentry and Pastor Benny Roberts officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 9 P.M.
