Kenneth Ken Groves

Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Groves, 71, of Cohutta, GA., passed away Monday, October 27, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
He was the son of the late, Chester and Dovie Talley Groves.
Ken was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from State Farm Insurance, after 23 years of service. He also was a member of the Mustang Car Club of America and loved to play golf.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Shirley Robertson Groves of Cohutta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Ann Groves, Don and Kathleen Groves all of Rocky Face; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Burgess of Dalton, Rachel and David Hubbs of Tulsa, OK; sister-in-law, Patricia Robertson Whitworth of Fl; special niece, Tonya Whitworth Aldredge; other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Guinn officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 9 P.M.
