Mrs. Juanita Cox Lusk, formerly of Dalton, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at her home in Guntersville, AL. She was born in Whitfield County, GA on January 22, 1933 to her parents, the late William T. Cox and Monnie Christain Cox of Dalton GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mack Lusk of Guntersville; one sister, Elnora (Cox) Mullins of Kentucky; two brothers, Willard Cox of Calhoun and J.T. Cox of Kentucky.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Lusk of Maryland, Richard and Michelle Lusk of Oak Ridge, TN, and Mark Lusk of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, R.J. Lusk, Ryan Lusk, and Jennifer Burbank; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathryn (Cox) and Leonard Sneed of New Braunfels, Texas and Tullah (Cox) and Derryl C. Smith of Dalton.
She was a 1950 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and a former member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church of Dalton. Her husband was a 28 year Air Force Veteran and they lived in many places around the world. After retirement they settled in Guntersville, Richard’s home town.
Arrangements were by Guntersville Memorial Chapel in Alabama.
