Loyd Ralston

Mr. Loyd Joseph Ralston, 69, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was the son of the late Howard Wayne Ralston and Docia Elizabeth Weaver Ralston and was preceded in death by 2 baby sisters, Joan and Joyce Ralston.
Loyd was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and gardening, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.
Loyd is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Barbara Hall Ralston of Dalton; sister, Carol West of Ellijay; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Ruth Ann Ralston of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Laura Rosenberger Ralston of Talking Rock, GA, Doug and Jaime Ralston of Marietta, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Alan Ridley of Chatsworth, GA, Kathryn and Kenny Reese, Kelli and Tony Wingfield and Kerry and Shane Adams all of Dalton; grandchildren, Logan Ralston, Kassie and Emily Ridley, Laighton, Joseph, Julia and Lizzie Reese, Mia Chambers, Braxton Perry, Labree, Jolie, Ezra and Eve Wingfield, Jackson and Parker Adams; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 P.M. at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Jones officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 til 8 P.M.
