Ralph Virgil Graves

Mr. Ralph Virgil Graves, 89, of Dalton passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Wesley Virgil Graves and Ethel Jones Graves and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Reynolds Graves in 1994; sister, Doris Whittle and brother, J.R. Graves.

Ralph is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lane and Gerald Thompson of Dalton, Donna and Lamar Bramblett of Peachtree City, GA, and Denise and Mike Slaton of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Conrad Graves, Wesley and Margaret Anne Graves all of Dalton; grandchildren, Stephanie Stepp, Jamann Stepp, Melanie and Curt Hammontree, Chad and Jo Beth Thompson, Manda and Bryan Alewine, Rodney Bramblett, Ryan Bramblett, Robin and Bryan Walker, Robby Rouillier, Ralph “Butch” and Kimberly Graves, Chris and Angie Graves, Holly and Bobby Wright, Wesley Graves Jr. and Kristen Graves, Nick Graves; great-grandchildren, Sam Stepp, Lily Stepp, Rhett Hammontree, Blake Hammontree, Libba Thompson, Mary Lois Thompson, Cody Alewine, Bryce Alewine, Jordan Walker, Callie Walker, Merrill Walker, Clay Walker, Tanner Rouillier, Whitney Graves, Tiffany Graves, Cassidy Wright, Rob Wright, Hannah Graves and Matthew Graves.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
