Mrs. Ruby Jones Yeargin, 94, of Dalton passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Doc and Dessie Payne Jones and was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Loyd C. Yeargin; infant son, Raymond Yeargin; sons, Randy Yeargin, Gregory Yeargin and Steven Yeargin; sister, Ruth Cearley and brothers, Johnny Jones and Bobby Jones.

Ruby is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gregg and Sandra Yeargin Sims of Dalton; grandchildren, Cathy Sims (Steve) Snyder of Dalton, Sheri Sims (Jeff) Henry of Atlanta, Carmen Yeargin and Fiancé Christopher Kelly of Dalton, Ashlyn Yeargin (Jon) Smalling of Acworth and Douglas Yeargin of Dalton; daughter-in-law, Joann Cleary Yeargin of Dalton; sister-in-law, Betty Brown Jones of Blairsville, GA; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Snyder, Grant Snyder, Sydney Snyder, Alex Ruiz, Vance Ruiz, Viona Kelly, Owen Smalling, Liam Smalling, and Ellis Smalling; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank friends and staff at The Gardens at Royal Oaks and caregivers, Jean Bunch, Marilynn Calhoun, Sandra Davis, Brenda Patterson, Brittany York, and Tonya York.

Funeral Services for Ruby will be at 3 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friend prior to the service on Sunday from 1 until 3 PM.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials made to one’s favorite charity.
