Vera Hewitt

Mrs. Vera Arnold Hewitt, 65, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Harlan and Ruby M. Arnold and was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa H. Tidwell and sisters, Ruby Lee A. Hood, Marie A. Westbrook, Peggy Ann Arnold, Martha A. Hall, and Patsy A. Little.

Vera is survived by the father of her children, Jerry A. Hewitt; sisters, Betty Jo Arnold and Judy Charlene Arnold all of Rocky Face; daughter, Tracy (Frankey) Weeks; son, Stacey (Kim) Hewitt; grandchildren, Leann Weeks, John (Sandra) Weeks, Kira (Joe) Collins, Kayla Hewitt, Trey Hewitt, Erin (Leah) Tidwell, and Jeremy (Anna) Tidwell; great-grandchildren, Christian, Michael, Tristan, Matthew, Alexis, Karsen, Gracie, Daylen, and Leon.

Funeral Services for Vera will be Saturday at 2 PM in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Keely Hasty officiating.

Burial will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 8 PM at Love Funeral Home.
