Raymond Manis

Mr. Raymond Manis, 86, of Tunnel Hill passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his residence.

He was the son of the late Lige and Carmie Pettit Manis and was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Manis; brothers, Quinn Manis and Joe Manis; grandson, Jason Walker and niece, Cindy Manis Maples.

Raymond was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Kenny and Stephanie Manis of Chatsworth, Maria and Lamar Goble of Chatsworth, Loretta and Rodney Walker of Cohutta, Wayne and Debbie Manis of Calhoun, Steve and Lisa Manis of Calhoun, and Barbara and Bobby Taylor of Tunnel Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Wanda Manis of Rocky Face; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their care and compassion.

Funeral services for Raymond will be Saturday at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Dallas Parker and Rev Trammell Campbell officiating.

Burial will be in the Dogwood Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post #112.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 9 PM at Love Funeral Home.
