Janice Dukes

Ms. Janice Acree Dukes, 60, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. and formerly of Dalton, GA. died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at her residence in Ft. Walton.
She was the daughter of the late, Ernest Millard Acree, Sr. and Dixie Barnett Acree. She graduated from Dalton High School in 1966 and was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church.
Janice is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jamey and Holly Hicks Dukes of Dalton, Chris and Michelle Weber Dukes of Ft. Walton; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest Millard Acree and Sherri Mayo Acree of Dalton; grandchildren, Christopher A. Dukes, Jr. (Cad), Harley Ashton Dukes, Hannah Danielle Dukes,
Skylan Grace Dukes, Kandace Bree Kenemer and Bentley Tyson Welch; aunts, Mary Barnett and Polly Jones both of Dalton; first cousin, Carol Matthews of Dalton; special friends, JoAnne Crefasi and Emily Ingram; nephews and niece Ernest Millard Acree, III and Rosanna Acree, Jason Mayo Acree and Chas Acree.
Services will be Saturday at 12:30 in the chapel of the First Baptist Church with the
Dr. Billy T. Nimmons and Rev. Robert Stitts officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Ernest M. Acree, III, Jason Acree,
Chas Acree, Tracy Acree, Brent Acree and William David O’Kelley, III serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
