Ida Lou Chance

Mrs. Ida Lou Flowers Chance, 81, of Dalton, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, December 5, 2008 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Lee Chance, Sr. and her daughter, Evelyn Hooper; sons, Jerry Stephens, Parris Stephens and Dillard Lee Chance, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Charles Mulkey of Resaca, GA., April and Gary Parr of Dalton, Darlene and David Pickle of Chatsworth, GA. and Eugene Hooper of Dalton; son, Ricky Stephens of North Carolina; sisters, WIllie Maddox of Dalton and Euna Ralston of Chatsworth; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Leroy Mulkey and the Rev. Charles Mulkey officiating.
Burial will follow in New Zion Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday after 5 P.M.
