James Burgess

Mr. James Burgess, Jr., 77, of Ellijay and formerly of Dalton, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 in Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, James Burgess, Sr. and Edith Plumley Burgess and was preceded in death by his wife, Valgreta Gilbreath Burgess and a son, James William Burgess.
James is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Rick Williams of Ellijay, Joy Burgess of Woodstock, Ga., Jena and Johnny Johnson of Dalton.
Son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Michele Burgess of Macon.
Sisters, Edna Roberts of Southlake, Tx., and Mary Watkins of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Chris and Mae Williams, Cher and Michael Kinsey, Craig Brock, Nathan Burgess, Jayme Burgess, Jason Burgess, Valarie Johnson, Lindsay Burgess and Kylie Johnson.
Great-Grandchildren, Maegan Williams, Bryson Williams, Jada Kinsey and Jenna Kinsey.
Nieces and Nephews.
Special companion, Marcelle McClurd of Calhoun.
Special friend, Drenda Wiley of Woodstock.
Services will be Saturday at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funereal Home with Pastor Doug Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 9 P.M.
