Mae Hawkins

Mrs. Mae Dillard Hawkins, 92, of Dalton, died Monday, December 8, 2008 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, W.H. and Ida Dillard and was preceded in death by her sisters, Jane Macey, Mildred Dalbey, Minnie Masters and Grace Brock.
Mae is survived by her husband, James C. Hawkins of Dalton; granddaughter , Alana Self, who lived with Mae. Sons, Richard Gammon of Grayson, GA. and Michael Self of Dalton; step-daughter, Karen Handley of Dalton; sisters, Louise Kennedy of Powder Springs and Betty Armstrong of Dalton, 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Armstrong officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to
7 P.M.
