William "Bill" Smith

William "Bill" Clayton Smith, 59, of Charleston, SC and formerly of Dalton, entered into eternal rest at the Medical University of South Carolina , March 12, 2015.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Jack W. Smith and is survived by his mother, Katheryn Pruitt Smith; sister, Kim Smith Miller and husband, Clay all of Dalton; nephews, Andrew and wife, Laura, Grant, Bryan and Chase Miller.

Memorial services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. V. Beth Royalty officiating.

The family will receive friends in the parrish hall of the church immediately following the service.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 519 E. 4th St. Chattanooga, TN. 37403 or to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 901 W. Emery St. Dalton, Ga. 30720.
